LOGISTIC PEOPLE is committed to protect the privacy of its users, consistent with the pertinent laws. We strive to ensure safe and secure use of our website. The purpose of this statement is to provide you with information on how personal information provided to us, particularly through this website, will be used by us.

Handling personal information professionally, trustfully and discretely is of great importance to LOGISTIC PEOPLE.

Privacy Protection

LOGISTIC PEOPLE meets the statutory data protection regulations. These govern collection, storage, processing, use, and release of your personal information, and grant you various rights. In accordance with § 3 of the Federal Data Protection Act, personal information is individual information on personal and factual circumstances related to a specific or determinable individual.

Storing, processing and use of your data

We strongly advise you, not to provide information on your race or ethnicity, political views, philosophical or religious beliefs, affiliations with a union or political party, physical or mental health, sexual life, crimes committed, or criminal proceedings in your résumé. If your résumé contains this type of information, you agree to us storing this information, and to use this information in accordance with this declaration and the pertinent provisions of the law.

By providing an e-mail address in our system, we presume being permitted to communicate with you by e-mail. As a precaution, please note experienced users may potentially read, modify, prevent delivery of, or generate new e-mail message.

In addition to personal information, we also store information on the browser type/version, your operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and date of the server request. The data will solely be used for statistical purposes. No further use or release to third parties, except for the exceptions specified under “Release of personal information” will not occur.

Data Integrity

LOGISTIC PEOPLE has implemented all the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from accidental damage and unauthorised access, use, modification, or release. Despite all these measures, the internet is an open system and we are unable to guarantee unauthorised third parties will never be able to bypass such measures or use your personal information for other purposes. We cannot guarantee complete data security when communicating via e-mail, so that we recommend sending confidential information through the mail.

Updating and deleting your information

The information for your applicant profile submitted to us through an online application, can be corrected, updated, edited or deleted at any time until posted.

Once we have personally met you in an applicant interview, we will lock the data. You may request your data to be modified, deleted, or locked at any time, including once posted. Please contact your LOGISTIC PEOPLE agent for this purpose.

If you have not completed your incomplete applicant profile within 14 days after adding it or submit the necessary information in file format to us, your information will be deleted after this period. If your information is still required for us to provide services, the data will be locked. This can particularly be the case if we have procured a job for you or you are/were a staff member of ours.

Release of personal information

A profile is on principle forwarded to our clients in anonymous form.

You also have the option to

  1. generally authorise release to all interested clients.
  2. generally authorise release to all interested clients with the exception of companies specified by you.
  3. authorise release on a case by case basis upon request.

The terms for release may change at any time, however this does not affect prior or pending releases.

Under no circumstances will we lease, sell or release data to third parties, except
based on legal duties, regulatory action or court order
to maintain or assert justified interests or to protect against risks to government or public safety, or to prosecute offences.

Data is only released outside the Federal Republic of Germany if you have expressly requested international placement. Some employers interested in your résumé may be located worldwide, outside the European Economic Area. These countries could potential not provide an equivalent legal protection from use of such information. We will only submit your personal information to such employers with your express approval.

Legal Age and Legal Capacity

Approval to collect, process and use your information will only be accepted from those of legal age. For this reason we are unable to store your data in this system if you are not yet 18 years of age. By submitting this data privacy statement once having reached legal age, you declare being of legal capacity. We will, however, accept the approval to collect, process and use your information after receiving written approval of your legal representative.

In the event you are not of legal age or of legal capacity, we will gladly accept your application in person at one of our branches.

Links to websites not operated by LOGISTIC PEOPLE

LOGISTIC PEOPLE websites may contain links to third party websites. These sites and their data protection measures are not under the control of LOGISTIC PEOPLE, so that we are not responsible for their information or contents. Personal information you provided to such third parties are not subject to the above data privacy statement. Some third party providers may possibly submit your personal information to us. In this case the release is subject to the data privacy policy of the respective third party provider.

Piwik statistical evaluation

This website uses Piwik, on open-source-software for statistical evaluation of user access. Piwik uses so-called cookies, text files stores on your computer allowing for the analysis of your use of the website. The information about your use of this website generated by the cookie is stored on the server. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before being stored. You may prevent cookies from being installed by configuring your browser software accordingly; however, please note that doing so may potentially prevent you from using all functions of this website.

Submission and withdrawal of your data privacy statement

By ticking “accept” with your mouse you acknowledge and approve this data privacy statement. The data privacy statement hence becomes your personal data privacy statement.

In the event you later wish to withdraw said, please e-mail us at datenschutz@logistic-people.de  or by post to the address below. We will deactivate/delete your information immediately upon receipt. We will gladly provide you with information about the data we have stored at any time.

Please note, once your approval has been withdrawn you will no longer be able to use the vital services.
